This day we were in downtown Asheville, NC for the 4th of July celebration. We didn’t know a soul but by the end of the night we found ourselves in a parking lot with new-found friends setting off fireworks illegally. And we got there in a convertible driven by a friend who looked like he fronted a 50’s rockabilly band. All in all, an amazing night and one of the more meaningful videos we made.

We went on a road trip for 30 days to 30 cities filming one story each day of people around America.

On the evening of July 4th, we had no story for July 5th. And we felt very pressured about it. So we did what any self-respecting artists would do and went to a bar. Long story short: we wound up meeting Elijah and Rhonda Wyman, who just happened to run their own eco-friendly jewelry business, which, as it turns out, is quite interesting. We spent the next day with them (and Crash-Dog!) and this video is their story.

This day we hung out with Bill Wade and the students of Inlet Dance Theatre. We were floored at the incredible level of professionalism and artistry we witnessed. These students were not only talented dancers but were also remarkably poised individuals with confidence beyond their years. After the shoot we were all commenting that we wished we would have had a program like this when we were in high school.

Very special thanks to Bill Wade for accommodating our visit and allowing us a view into the wonderful world of Inlet Dance. :)

This particular mini-doc was shot in Nashville, TN. We had numerous people tell us about a community of musicians called “10 Out of Tenn” so we decided to investigate … long story short: Ally, Matt and I were invited to spend an evening in their world — truly one of the most unique communities we encountered on our travels. Their love for music and for each other was evident. We had a great time. Enjoy the vid!
